Parkour Time Attack Challenge

Another event created by Vincent, but this time with a complete different theme.

Instead of solving riddles like last time, the contestants will have to prove their skills in a hardcore parkour realm built by Nanoha. If you're scared of heights, then this challenge is not for you.

A whole realm covered with spikes at the bottom with only one way up is waiting for brave individuals to enter this chamber and test them to the limits.

However, the creator wasn't heartless so he made waypoints available all the way through the obstacle course.

The event is will commence on the 5th of July which is Saturday, at 12:00 pm London time and will last for two whole hours.

The rules of the event are;

1) Any attempts of cheating will result in a time penalty.
2) Every contestant has to enter through the main door of the realm, no warping spawns!
3) The timer starts at your first jump and stops when you reach the final sign at the end.
4) 12 minutes is the time limit, everyone who exceeds that will fail.
5) No spectators allowed, if you're not doing the course then walk out of the room.
6) Every contestant needs to sign up for the event in the forums or the website.

Vincent also kindly made the parkour course walk-through -

Robin Hood And The Merry Men

In today's update a Robin Hood hat was introduced, which was long awaited by the community (or mainly Robin Hood).

In the result of that, a group called the Merry Men started plundering rich possessions and players with the only one true, Robin Hood in the lead. However, everything they steal goes to poor peasants of cubic castles and helps them survive upcoming days, and even weeks.

We were able to capture a photo of these gold-thirsty bandits, cough while 20thRainyDay died over 100 times trying to complete the green course cough.

Here it is (Click to zoom in) -

If anyone sees these thieves, please report to the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Multiple Overworlds

The time finally came, multiple overworlds welcomed us with the new update featuring launchpads and rocket travel allowing us to travel between them.

At the moment there are two overworlds named "Eden", which is the original one and "Tinkerworld" which is the freshly added one.

Due to the new system, players encountered some major bugs while travelling in between worlds but the admins are working hard to solve them. Never the less, the update is a complete success which brings us even closer to the mobile version release. (IOs and Android)

Apart from that, the update introduced other bug fixes and cannons which are the early stage of pvp and mob system that everyone want's so badly.

I've taken a few screenshots of the overworld travel so here they are (Click to zoom in) -

Cubic Town Center Walkthrough

A nice walkthrough created by "BassFromHell" of Cubic Town Center.

He shows the contents of all the side rooms and reveals secret areas around this realm. To watch it, just click play on the embedded player below -

Hope's Pike

This marvellous realm was created by a respected player "Nastina" who didn't hesitate to create her rainbow dream world in the game.

The whole place is a one delightful "heaven" where others can jump around various obstacle courses while admiring the beautiful scenery in the background. It contains loads of different little secret passages and places where you can just sit down and relax with friends if you'll ever get tired of walking around.

And it doesn't stop on that, the realm includes a huge amount of additional side-rooms that are as colourful and glorious as the main chamber. There you can find a random room maze, where you are basically lost in a matrix of doors trying to get out alive. Following that, there are two magnificent sky towers from which you need to get down to get your reward. (which is pure satisfaction of completing the course)

Of course for sunny days, Nastina included various swimming pools to cool down in with others while having a drink of some fresh lemonade from the sky bar nearby, which is supplied with the highest quality goods.

It is stated in the middle top corner of the overworld on an island and has a temple skin applied which is really easy to spot from the sky map.

This realm is one of the few that got onto my favourite list and I strongly recommend visiting it yourself!

Multiple screens from the realm (Click to zoom in) -

Ps. Just go and visit it right now ;)

Hidden Options

Apart from the standard game options and functions, the developers included three additional tools under the F1, F2 and F4 buttons.

The F1 button when held, always shows an edge of the realm you are in without actually being there, like shown on the screen (Click to zoom in) -

Holding the F2 button causes the UI to disappear which may be useful when taking screens or reducing the amount of stuff on the screen to look for something in a realm. -

Last one is the F4 button which is (in my opinion) the most important one from these three. When held, it shows the whole structure mapping of the realm with which the player can see through walls. It can be used to for example spot dropped items under the ground or make a maze easier to get through. -

Of course remember to leave any items you will find and manage to pick up while pressing the F4 button in realms that do not belong to you as this would go against the game guidelines.

Cloud Climbing

Ever had a high tower with no way to climb on it? Well now this is possible with no effort what so ever, just stay tuned to learn how to do so.

First off you will need a cloud of course, then place it one block high from the bottom below the tower just like shown on the picture (Click to zoom in) -

Next, jump right under the cloud and you will get placed inside of the blocks. Keep jumping up to get to the top -

After you reach the final top block, your character jumps out like nothing ever happened and guess what, you're at the top! -

It can be used to make secret passages and many more things in your realm, but now you know the basics so get building!

Items In Glass

This is a very common technique of placing items inside of (clear/white) glass.

It is used to display precious items, decorate the realm and many other purposes which I'm sure the players will think of.

To do so, just drop and item on the ground like so (Click to zoom in) -

And cover it with two blocks of glass -

Now the item is safe from other people who may enter your realm. They will only be able to have a look at it, nothing else.

One Way Passage

A simple way to make a one-way passage without using any drops, is by placing horizontal accelo-rings in the doorway.

This way other players in your realm will be able to enter but not exit a specified part of the land. It may also be used to make trap rooms in mazes and obstacle courses from which there is no escape apart from the leave button which will wipe their way-points.

An example of a passage like that is shown on the picture below and I hope you will have tons of fun with this technique. (Click to zoom in) -

Spike Edges

Edges of spikes can be walked on, this helps in various parkour realms when you're dealing with spikes and it can save you a lot of effort.

It may require some skill to do it but it's not impossible, and when you'll get the hang of it every spike obstacle will be a pity for you!

Just aim the character for the line in between the spike and empty space like shown on the picture. (Click to zoom in) -

That's all to it, no strings attached :)

LadyLu' Flag Syndrome

This realm has many projects ahead of itself which "Vincent" just started out, but he provided us with many wonderful side rooms and the main level to cherish in the cubic world right now.

LadyLu' Flag Syndrome main room is based on sky music tracks along the way down through the beautiful rainbows and clouds surrounding us till we reach a cute town at the bottom from where we can visit various side rooms.

It contains a connection section from which a player can warp to many places and a cloud cafe on the other side to sit down and relax with friends.

The realm is located at the left hand bottom of the map with a tower skin with which it stands out from the other realms.

Screens from the realm (Click to zoom in) -

The Black Pearl

It's a completed Black Pearl ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean series created by a respected player *cough* pirate "Jack Sparrow", which matches the realm theme.

He does what he wants cause a pirate is free so... don't brag at a pirate!

The realm is based on a ship which has a hull full of chests with loot for newbies, and a secret passage to the flying Dutchman ship prison for scallywags, arrr!

I will not reveal the secret though, you have to find the passage by yourself and believe me, the outcome is worth it.

It is located right in the right bottom hand corner of the map and is really easy to spot being the only realm around the island.

Some screenshots from the ship (Click to zoom in) -

Cubic Jail

The prison is a community built project designed by me with many of my friends from the game involved. It is the official "banned player's" jail, which means that if a player gets banned by an admin or a moderator (when we will get some), he will not be able to go around the world for the duration of his sentence. Therefore he will be forced to rot in the prison till it ends.

Hall of fame -

Most dedicated builders - Rolim, BassFromHell, 20thRainyDay, Surfer, CubeBoy, Hitman-ps.

Rest of the builders - Abod, Mabz, Vincent, Greymalke, Sam.

The entry to the realm is at the Ministry Of Defence until it gets converted into a deed and placed in the overworld.

The project was carried out with detailed plans that allowed the players to unite and not make any mistakes in the process.

Various screenshots of the prison (Click to zoom in) -

And now for the worst criminal of all... SirKewberth rotting in the cell! -

Ministry Of Defence

This is my main realm which I was expanding over time since the game launch. The first room has four levels which are; fountains, connections, golden dome and top of the world levels.

The first side room is a 100x100 Pyramid Of Horus which has a hardcore maze inside that is required to complete before actually seeing the pyramid itself and the throne on the top.

Second side room is the Requiem Club which has a full size piano on which players can play various tunes while relaxing in the realm.

Third side room is the Ministry Of Defence Prison Complex which will be converted into a deed and placed in the world for banned players to rot in ;)

There are other rooms like my personal storage and some unfinished ones like Sherwood but they will come in time.

The realm is located in the middle left hand corner of the map, just above Ponyville.

Screens from the realm (Click to zoom in) -

Ponyville

It is an amazing realm with many attractions, secrets and wonders. It has that amazing mythical feeling to it which just keeps you there for ages.

The realms has multiple side rooms which lead to other parts of "Equestria" which are rather interesting to explore and get to know the secrets of My Little Pony world. It can be found in the middle left hand corner of the map next to the Kingdom Of The Yellow God.

It was created by a respected player "Greymalke" with whom I talk a lot in the game.

Some screens from the realm, I really recommend visiting it yourself though! (Click to zoom in) -

One Of The Eight Wonders [Ended]

One of the eight wonders of the world will be opening this Friday!

It will contain various challenges which will test both, your skills and intelligence against other players participating. The maker "Vincent" has prepared various attractions including treasure hunting from which you will be able to obtain rewards, and hidden tips to aid on your way throughout it.

Newer the less, for whoever participated will get at least one gold ore and the winner will be able to request a reward from the cubit store. (Price range is in place)

But the fun doesn't end here, every player after the event will have a chance to obtain the loot of the secret garden which was locked by the ancients and the only way to open it is to find the secret password coded in the clues provided throughout the realm.

The event will take place on 27th June at 20:00 PDT (28th June 03:00 GMT) in the "Babylon" realm so see you there!
